Amy Hedges, MD

Description

After attending Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dr. Hedges served as a battalion surgeon and general medical officer with the U.S. Marines, including a tour in Iraq. While a pediatrician at Geisinger Medical Center at Susquehanna University, she provided children of all ages with routine and urgent care, as well as coordinated their Reach Out and Read program to give children free books at their well-child visits. She also volunteered her medical services at a summer camp for children with diabetes and a camp for kids with brain injuries. Dr. Hedges is a board-certified pediatrician.
