Lesbian and gay people are faced every day with difficult intersections between sexual diversity; trauma; religion, faith and spirituality; conflicting cultural and relational demands; and sometimes issues of race. Stress, hypervigilance, shame, anxiety, depression and mental confusion are to us like water is to the fish. But we have an amazing ability to heal, grow, and thrive when given the right support. I integrate multiple approaches according to the client's need in the moment. My approaches include EMDR, Brainspotting, and intensive emotional processing. I am also able to harness the power of the client's imagination to release trauma and trauma-based behaviors from their unconscious.
