At ETSU Health Surgery, we know that hearing the words, “you have breast cancer” is overwhelming. We are here to help. You surgeon will play a critical role in decision making for your multimodality treatment, which will include surgery, and may include genetic testing, radiation oncology services and medical oncology services. We offer the full spectrum of breast cancer surgical care, including lumpectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, mastectomy and chemotherapy port placement. We work with our plastic surgeons to offer same day reconstruction of mastectomies in the appropriate setting. In addition to breast malignancies, we are also here to evaluate a wide range of breast conditions including evaluation of breast cysts and nipple discharge as well as removal of benign tumors such as fibroadenomas.
