Lori Goodwin, MD

Description

Dr. Goodwin was born and raised in Staten Island, NY. She was drawn to the Hampton Roads area because of the residency program at EVMS and CHKD, where she completed her internship and residency. She has been working as a CHKD pediatrician at Newport News Pediatrics ever since. Dr. Goodwin believes in educating her patients so that they have the knowledge to empower themselves to take good care of their own health. Taking care of families as their children grow from babies to young adults is her favorite part of the job. She enjoys guiding parents through the exciting journey of parenthood and, as a mother of twins herself, has a unique understanding of the challenges of raising multiples.
