Dr. Briggs is a native Texan, born in Austin. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Texas-Houston Dental Branch in 1998. Dr. Briggs completed a six-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Texas Medical Center in conjunction with the University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. During this program she also earned her Medical Degree at the University of Texas Houston Medical School. She is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. Dr. Briggs is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Briggs is married to Dr.
