Sharron Acosta MD

Description

Dr. Acosta graduated with Honors from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She completed her medical training at the University of California, Los Angeles. While at UCLA she did a post junior fellowship in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Acosta performed her internship in Internal Medicine in Los Angeles before returning to Texas. She completed her Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She served as Chief Resident in her final year at UTHSCSA and currently maintains her connections with the University as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology.
